The committee unfortunately wish to advise that the start of the season has had to be postponed once again.
Works have been happening at a rapid rate in recent times, this week we were due to start crucial ground works for the new electrical system along with the continuation of preparing the new racing surface to hit our November 4 dead line. Yesterday we received in excess of 35mm of rain and this has delayed these works by at least a week.
So the meeting scheduled for November 4th (Col Beasley Classic) has been rescheduled to December 9th. We would like to thank Mandy Searle & the Australian Sprintcar All Star Series for working with us in a rapid manner to be able to reschedule this meeting. Unfortunately, the Speedcars are no longer available for the rescheduled date but we will continue to work with these guys to plan a run latter in the year or next season as we we’re super excited to have the Speedcars back at B&S Earthworks Timmis Speedway.
Our opening meeting will now be the Ross Crick Memorial on November 18 with one maybe two scheduled practices to happen in the lead up to the opening meeting.
Keep an eye on social’s for updates & also a scheduled working bee to be held next Saturday & Sunday (October 14 & 15) with more details coming during the week.
