TIMMIS REVEALS HISTORIC SEASON OF SPEED FOR 2024/2025

B&S Earthworks will continue its 60th birthday celebrations with an historic season of Speedway for 2024/2025 that has been unveiled today and is sure to set pulses racing for both Sunraysia fans and those spread across the state and country.

Two Australian Championships will be amongst the major highlights of what is one of Timmis’ most ambitious calendars yet.

Fresh from the uber-successful running of the National Production Sedan Car Title last season the Australian Modified Sedan Championship and the Australian Wingless Sprint Championships will attract monster fields and huge team and fan support at Timmis in March and April.

Despite the historic end of the Mainline Dynolog Dynamometers Australian Sprintcar All Star Series last season Sprintcars will most certainly return to Timmis with at least three appearances including the 2024 SA 410ci Sprintcar Championship.

The calendar will feature a wide variety of four-wheel fury from different disciplines that are guaranteed to thrill fans of all ages.

Modified Sedans, Sprintcars (410’s and 360’s), Wingless Sprints, Street Stocks, AMCA Nationals, Formula 500’s, Juniors, Late Model Sedans and so many more – plus the ever increasingly popular “Wind back the clock” affair with good weather this time!

Mildura’s Jarod Waters will lay his A#1 on the line in Mods on April 17/19 (Easter) as well as 2024 AWSR Australian Wingless Sprint Champion Jacob Jolley from Lismore who puts his title up for grabs on March 8-9.

The two national titles are expected to attract the cream of talent in Modified Sedans and Wingless Sprints with teams from the extremities of the country.

Australian Titles, State titles, National Series and so much more are scheduled with some of the highlights including:

September 21: ‘Wind back the clock’ pre-race show, Ross Crick Memorial and the AMCA Nationals VIC Series

October 12: SA Southern Street Stock Series and Pro 360ci Sprintcars

October 26: Formula 500 Stampede, Junior F500’s, Modified Sedans, Wingless Sprints and Junior Sedans

December 7: 410ci SA Sprintcar Championship, Modified Sedans and Junior Sedans

January 11: VIC Late Model State Championship, AMCA Nationals SA State Championship, Junior Sedans, Street Stocks, Vintage Heavy Weight Hot Rods

February 22: Pro 360ci Sprintcars, Wingless Sprints, Junior Sedans and Street Stocks

March 7-9: 2024/2015 AWSR Australian Wingless Sprint Championship

March 15: WOW Wingless Sprint Series, Modified Sedans, and Pro 360ci Sprintcars

April 17 & 19 (Easter): 2024/2025 Australian Modified Sedan Championship and Pro 360ci Sprintcars

May 3: Street Stock Top Gun Series, F500’s, Junior F500’s and Wingless Sprints

May 24: ‘Wind back the clock’ and practice/sponsors day

All in all it’s a season befitting a 60-year old Sunraysia Speedway institution and fresh off the “Most Improved Track” award at last weekend’s Speedway Australia Gala Dinner the committee is more excited than ever to make history.
